Our Blue Mountain Residence is a series of preliminary designs for a year-round home tailored to a young family in the Blue Mountains region. With a strong focus on outdoor living and connection to the surrounding landscape—including the nearby ski hills—the design draws inspiration from western mountain architecture.

Natural wood textures and warm, earthy tones define the facade, giving the home a grounded and enduring presence within its setting. The massing and material palette work together to create a sense of shelter and solidity, while still embracing openness to the outdoors.

This concept explores the balance between rugged durability and refined comfort, shaping a home that responds to both the active lifestyle and the natural beauty of the Blue Mountains.
